Add extra animations based on certain events

My vision for the Zima Weather dashboard was to have a mix of both functional and fun elements in it. The core functionality of the dashboard is built around functional elements like five-day weather forecast cards, current weather and datetime elements. In the future, I plan to add other functional elements like calendar with holidays, potentially Google Calendar integration, precipitation and UV index forecasts.

The other part of the dashboard are fun elements -- events that occur with different probabilities or on certain dates, or during certain weather conditions. And the first fun element I am adding is Christmas Tree animation, which will only appear on December nights:
